I got out my gardenbooks and garden-diary to make some plans, choose some new plants etc.
Also did some knitting, i am nearly finished with my blanket :)
And enjoying a cup of tea....this cup used to belong to my grandmother and instead of being a "show-model" i thought i would use it again....
I have enough cups-and-saucers, jugs, plates etc. to "show" in my kitchen cupboard. I love the sight of all these different objects .... and the fun thing is they all have a story to tell !
For example all the places where they come from .... found at a flea-market, or bought on a welsh antique fair or a gift from our friends from Wales.
Rosa was also enjoying this weekend .... laying above the central heating !! And look what she was interested in .... my books about the birds, haha !
We always have the bird-books on the table, so if we see a special one we can check them out ! 
I also enjoyed the little corner on the mantel-piece that i made.
Quite a while ago i found to big pieces of fabric at the thriftshop; one with squires and in a sandy colour and the other is white with open work emboidery. In my crafts cupboard i found an old sheet from my grandmother and from all these fabrics together i want to make a tablecloth for our diningtable .....
Patchwork is favourite to me so i'll use squares to sew it together. I really enjoyed sorting it out. I have never made patchwork before so we'll see how it will work out ...... but i like the countrystyle -feeling and this would fit in nicely !!.Wishing you all an enjoyable week !!
