New treasures.....

In my last post i showed you the beautiful shop where i bought a few things from my "birthday-money"..... I saw this iron-wire-basket when we came in and i liked it rightaway. So many things you can do with it ........for storing the onions in the kitchen, or

for collecting the eggs from the henhouse, or

for putting flowers in it, or

for holding the peggs while hanging the laundry !

I also choose this picture/engraving, i like the "oldfashioned" landscapes and it would fit perfectly with the collection we have hanging above our sofa.

This beautiful dish, made of steal and wood, was a birthday-present from my brother- and sister-in-law. It was filled with candles but you can ofcourse change the content all the time. It's now in the hallway with a collection of old things like a old binocular, ink-well and a very old dictionary !

I end this post with some flowers from the livingroom.....here in my old gravy-boat from the thriftshop...

and here the tulips in a jug that was placed in an old bowl from my grandmother ! Simple but beautiful, i think.
